Departing from West Maui's Mala Wharf boat ramp and Kaanapali Beach, the Cooper V and Mercury are equipped for some fantastic bottom fishing trips. The captain will clean and fillet your catch if desired.

Shared Maui Fishing Charters
Lighter tackle inshore fishing for those who prefer calm waters and 4 hour trips (up to 8 hours with private charters). These exclusive Maui fishing trips are operated in calm executive waters closer to shore, making this our top recommended charter for serious fisherman as well as families with kids aged 7 and up, teens, and those who want to land decent sized Maui game fish. The captain will clean and fillet your catch if desired.

Inshore Fishing Overview
UFO Adventures Fishing trips utilize the fastest fishing vessels in Hawaii. At 30+ kts Cooper V and Mercury are unmatched in their ability to get to more fishing grounds than any other vessel. With Cooper V's 12-passenger capacity, the net result is more opportunities to find the bite and put dinner on the table. Depending on weather, charter time, and guests ability we can utilize various angling techniques for that once-in-a-lifetime Hawaiian fishing experience. Fishing locations are at the captain's discretion and are dependent on the current weather conditions.

INCLUSIONS

• All fishing gear and tackle provided
• A cooler filled with ice will be provided
• Guests supply their own food and favorite drinks
• Beer is permitted but not provided (cans only)

REQUIRED FISHING LICENSE

• Hawai'i now requires a license for recreational ocean fishing for non-Hawai'i residents. If anyone in your party will be fishing you will need to obtain this license or risk fines from DLNR
• The license is easy to get at the Department of Land and Natural Resources-Division of Aquatic Resources website https://fishing.hawaii.gov/
• The cost is $20 for a 1-day license, $40 for a 7-day license, and $70 for an annual license. Nonresident youth under 15 years of age and all active-duty military personnel and their families do not need a license.
• If you are not able to purchase your license ahead of time, you can purchase a license day-of on your smartphone. If possible, please purchase your license before arriving to speed our departure process and avoid any delays due to connection issues.

• Availability: Daily
• Time: 5:30 am - 6:00 am departure depending on the season. The 4 hour private is offered at 12:00 pm only
• Location:Mala Boat Ramp in Lahaina or Whalers Village in Kaanapali - location and vessel will be determined 24 hours prior to departure - the captain will text you the location and vessel details.
• Duration: 6 hour share charter or 4, 6 or 8 hour private charters

RESTRICTIONS

• Maximum 4 passengers on the shared charter and 6 passengers on the private charter (4 anglers at one time).
• Minimum Age: 12 years old to participate as an angler on a shared Charter. Children 7-12 may be required to share a pole with an adult based on skill level - private charter only. Minimum age or 5 years old to join as an observer for PRIVATE charters only
• 3 anglers are required to confirm a Shared Fishing Charter.
• Fishing License is required
